Since 1999 M. Scott Bashoor has been a pastor of Community Bible Church (part of which was formerly known as Bible Church of Buena Park) in Orange County, CA, and since 2002 he has been a Faculty Associate at The Master's Seminary (Los Angeles). He holds degrees from Bob Jones University (B.A. 1994) and The Master's Seminary (M.Div. 1998; Th.M. 2002) from where he is currently pursing a Ph.D.
He regularly teaches seminary courses in Old Testament languages & literature and English Bible exposition classes, and he has also authored courses in English Bible for The Master's University for whom he leads online classes. He has published articles on preaching, pastoral matters, and biblical studies, and has contributed to the Lexham Bible Dictionary.
He was raised in a godly Baptist pastor's home in Bowie, Maryland (near Washington D.C.). Scott and his wife, Heidi, who is a self-employed decorative artist and homeschooling mom, live in La Mirada, Calif. with their two children and a labradoodle.
